FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A little clarity
before you begin.

Straightforward answers to common questions about the practice.

Who do you see?

Adults and adolescents ages 12 and older, initially in Colorado. Individual suitability and the appropriate level of care are reviewed before treatment begins.

Do you offer care outside Colorado?

Chanise is licensed in Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and New Mexico. The practice is starting in Colorado. Other-state availability will be added as payer and operational requirements are in place.

What are the self-pay fees?

An initial psychiatric evaluation is $375 for 60 minutes. General medication-management follow-ups are $175 for 30 minutes. ADHD evaluation is $475 for 75 minutes, with separate follow-ups at $250 for 20 minutes.

How often are established ADHD follow-ups?

Once established, ADHD patients are seen at least once every three months. These 20-minute self-pay visits cost $250 each.

Does an evaluation guarantee a prescription?

No. Evaluation and treatment planning are individualized. Medication recommendations depend on clinical assessment, safety considerations, and applicable requirements.

Can I book or send health information here?

No. This is a design preview. It does not accept appointment requests, clinical intake, payments, or messages. An approved clinical workflow will be established before public launch.

Do you accept insurance?

Insurance participation is being finalized and must be verified for your specific plan, network, effective date, and billing arrangement. Please confirm coverage before scheduling; this preview does not represent any insurer, including Medicaid, as an accepted plan. You can also review our insurance information and self-pay fees.

How long are the appointments?

Initial psychiatric evaluations are 60 minutes, and general medication-management follow-ups are 30 minutes. A separate, specialized ADHD evaluation is 75 minutes; ADHD follow-ups are 20 minutes. Each visit makes space to discuss your concerns, review progress, and consider next steps together. The fees page lists each service and its self-pay rate.

Do you prescribe stimulants and benzodiazepines?

When clinically appropriate, controlled medications may be considered as part of a comprehensive treatment plan following psychiatric evaluation and ongoing monitoring. An appointment does not guarantee a prescription. Decisions are individualized and may involve review of medical records and prescription-monitoring information, additional screening when appropriate, and follow-up based on clinical needs. The practice is launching in Colorado only; service availability and prescribing requirements must be confirmed before care begins.

Do you provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine (Suboxone®) and naltrexone?

The proposed addiction-treatment services include medication options selected for the particular condition and individual clinical needs, such as buprenorphine for opioid use disorder and naltrexone for opioid or alcohol use disorder when appropriate. Care may also address concerns involving kratom, methamphetamine, cannabis, and other substances. The approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and grounded in harm reduction. Availability, suitability, and prescribing requirements must be confirmed individually; an evaluation does not guarantee medication. Learn more about addiction treatment.

Can you complete FMLA, Colorado FAMLI leave, disability, or workplace accommodation paperwork?

When clinically appropriate, Chanise can complete mental-health-related documentation for FMLA, Colorado FAMLI, short-term disability, workplace accommodations, and other forms. Completion depends on a thorough clinical assessment, supporting information, medical necessity, and professional judgment. Discuss your needs during an appointment; any administrative fees and expected turnaround times will be reviewed in advance. Completion and approval of a request are not guaranteed.

What do I need for my visit?

For a planned telehealth visit, you will need a reliable internet connection and a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a working camera and microphone. Choose a quiet, private space; headphones may help with sound and privacy. Appointment-specific instructions will be provided once the clinical workflow is configured. See New Patients for preparation details.

Is the telehealth platform secure and private?

The practice is finalizing its clinical technology and intake workflow. Platform details, privacy information, and access instructions will be provided before appointments begin. This design preview is not a clinical communication system and does not collect health information. Please do not send symptoms, medications, medical records, or other sensitive information through this website or ordinary email.

What should I do if I have technical difficulties?

Check your internet connection, refresh your browser, and confirm camera and microphone permissions. If needed, try another supported device. For appointment-specific guidance, contact the practice at (970) 602-4222. Immediate troubleshooting or a particular response time is not guaranteed, and this preview does not connect to a live appointment system.

Do I need to be in Colorado for my appointment?

Yes. During the Colorado launch, patients must be physically located in Colorado at the time of their telehealth appointments. If you expect to be traveling outside Colorado, discuss this with the practice before the visit. Licensure in other states does not mean appointments are currently available there.
